Mike offers ABCD training and consultation to organizations to engage their local communities as partners for collective action. Mike teaches and consults throughout North America and internationally. Mike’s focus is the practical implementation of ABCD principles. Mike was the training director of the ABCD Institute’s Neighborhood Circle for four years.
Tara Zagofsky
Tara has over ten years of experience working with small, medium and large organizations around the world. Tara has artfully led effective group work through mutual learning and has a reputation of engaging all types of participants, across different cultures and languages. From these experiences, Tara brings passion and dedication to deliver her best work with a vision for a more just world.

The ABCD Center
The Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) Center is a group of trainers and practitioners that are part of a large and growing movement that persues community development by focusing on local assets as the primary building blocks of healthy and sustainable communities. Building on the skills of local residents, the power of local associations, and the supportive functions of local institutions and agencies, asset-based community development draws upon existing community strengths to build stronger sustainable communities. Ron Dwyer-Voss is a founding Fellow of the ABCD Center.

The ABCD Institute
Much of the research and many of the resources used to support ABCD practice are available from the ABCD Institute at Northwestern University.
